Alfaparf Milano is one of the first cosmetics groups in the world. Our purpose is to offer formulas developed with all the technological know-how of the Group Other, obtained through years of work with professionals or stylists, to achieve professional aesthetic care products and solutions for both hair and body.


Alfaparf Milano is a leader in hair care in Latin America (Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina) and one of the leading skin care companies in Italy.


Alfaparf was born in 1980, thanks to an idea of Roberto Franchina, who, with the support of ten other people, began to conceive products in northern Italy for the hairdressing channel. Some years passed and, in 1989, the Semi di Lino line was launched, which would be the first great commercial success. The following year, permanent coloring came with Evolution of the Color.


In the 90s he began the adventure in export, first to Spain and Latin America and then to the commercial branches in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Venezuela. Production also began: the first factories were opened in Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela.


Alfaparf has several product lines: It's called Alfaparf Semi di Lino. It's called Alfaparf Precius Nature.


THE EVOLUTION
In 2000, production in Italy moved to Osio Sotto (Bergamo) and, two years later, the GROUP Other; Its sales amount to some EUR 60 million, of which more than 90% are generated abroad. The international vocation was strengthened in 2003 with the start of activity in China.


In 2008, work began to expand the factories in Italy, Mexico and Brazil. It also started the Private Label project, with the aim of developing the production of private labels using the group's know-how, in particular in colouring products. 2009 was a historic year: the GTS Group, founded in the late 1970s, which produces and distributes professional cosmetics and household appliances for beauty salons, was acquired. In the global cosmetics industry, Other is, by size, the first with 100% italian capital.


In recent years, the Group has boldly followed the path of globalisation, extending its activity beyond the usual reference markets. Exports to Eastern Europe (Russia, the Baltics, the Balkans and the former Soviet republics), India, the Middle East and Africa have increased.


Alfaparf Milano, which has always concentrated on the professional channel, made its debut on the consumer channel, starting from Brazil with the brand Alta Moda è ... (Hair Care) distributed in stores specializing in hair care products, beauty and beauty shops and perfumeries.


Production capacity has been increased by factories in Argentina and Venezuela. The Group's organisational structure has been reshaped through the creation of two regional entities: America and Eurasia/Africa/Oceania, with the aim of accelerating global growth.
