In the 30's, the brand created the first hair dryer motor, which gave foot to spread throughout Europe and to conquer America. Also this brand, a pioneer in products to protect and nourish the hair.
This brand has suffered serious consequences after the end of the world war in the 40 years since its plant was located to the east of Germany and the German Democratic Republic was declared, along with all patents, the state's heritage.
However, the family Stroher never gave up on his dreams and together with a few employees began again the plant in Hessen, Germany.
After the economic depression, Wella, along with 50 employees achieved again high yields of the main products: Wella Junior and Kolestral. For 50 years, the brand launches Koleston, the first dye cream in the world, such was the success that in the first 3 years sales totaled 5.5 million tubes.
When a brand is so interested in the professional growth of hair stylist, in the year of 2000 created the Trendvision, a competition between stylists worldwide to promote its creative vision, rescuing the best techniques.
